Independant Language Stimulation Agent

Independant Language Stimulation Agent

The following language stimulation agent offers her services in the offices of Éclore Speech Clinic.  Please note, however that she is self-employed and independent of the clinic.  Éclore Speech Clinic does not garantee her services.

A language stimulation agent can stimulate language overall.  She can also work on language goals if these have been previously established by a speech-language pathologist.  However, she cannot assess language and communication skills.

Maude Lafranchise, graduating SLP student

Maude Lafranchise holds a bachelor's degree in linguistics and is a graduating student in the professional master's degree in speech-language pathology at the Université de Montréal.  She offers language stimulation services to children, in a non-evaluative and non-diagnostic setting.  She intervenes either by following an existing and up-to-date speech therapy intervention plan, or by global language stimulation.  In her role as a language stimulation agent, she puts into practice the objectives established by the speech-language pathologist using adapted strategies.  Maude values creating a positive bond with the child and their family, as well as collaborating with parents.  She also offers concrete strategies to support language on a daily basis and promote progress at home.

Clientele 0 to 7 years old awaiting a speech-language pathology evaluation, requiring global language stimulation or with language difficulties, a developmental language disorder (DLD), a language disorder (TL) associated with a biomedical condition, or a disorder in the development of speech sounds.
